There are many ways to support young people in your community, and not all of them require a huge time commitment. Becoming a mentor is the most direct, but volunteering at programs, donating supplies, or simply showing up to community events all make a difference.
Local organizations are often looking for professionals willing to share their skills — a few hours teaching résumé writing, financial basics, or a trade can open doors for a young person figuring out their path.
